Empowering Girls through Education – A Milestone for Pathfiinder
As the founder of Pathfiinder, I have always held on to my vision of closing the gap for STEM education in rural India. I have spent the past three years working with tribal groups in Gujarat and Wada (Maharashtra) to empower the next generation—and especially girls—through the infrastructure to dream, learn, and lead.
I am very proud to announce today an important milestone: the successful completion of a book donation campaign. It is worth over USD 7,000, with nearly 700 kilograms of books.
I had undertaken this project for Ahimsadham Charitable Trust, which is striving to implement 150 libraries in Gujarat. One such library in Mundra will now serve girls from 150 schools (Grades 5–12), where they will have a secure and accessible space to study and prepare for competitive exams like the Indian Administrative Services and Indian Police Services.
The English, Gujarati, and Hindi general knowledge books, textbooks, and storybooks were collected and distributed within 15 days.
I could interview students whose drive and determination to succeed were incredibly inspiring. It’s not about books—about hope, opportunity, and creating a future where every girl has an equal chance to succeed.
Here’s to many more such journeys of impact.
